Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Legs (Upper).

Most clients experience smooth legs for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, hormones, and aftercare. With regular waxing, hair typically grows back finer and sparser, extending time between appointments and improving overall texture.

Arrive with hair about 1/4 inch long and skin clean and dry. Gently exfoliate a day or two before, avoid heavy creams, tanning, or chemical exfoliants beforehand, and inform us of medications or recent treatments.

Sensitivity varies by person and area, but waxing is quick and tolerable. Our technicians use professional techniques to minimize discomfort. We can recommend pre- and post-care tips, and sensitive-skin options if needed.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (the length of a grain of rice) for the wax to adhere properly. If hair is longer, we may trim it; if shorter, the wax may not grip effectively.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense workouts for 24 hours. Apply gentle moisturizers and avoid exfoliating for 48 hours. Use SPF on exposed areas and wear loose clothing to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.

We avoid waxing over sunburn, open wounds, active rashes, or severe varicose veins. Certain medications (like isotretinoin) and recent chemical peels can increase risk—disclose medications and skin treatments before booking.
