Get answers to common questions about Full Body Wax.
Gently exfoliate two to three days before your appointment, avoid retinoids or harsh acids for at least a week, and arrive with clean, dry skin. Hair should be roughly a quarter to half inch to allow the wax to grip properly.
Expect about sixty to one hundred twenty minutes depending on hair density, specific areas included, and client comfort. We prioritize careful technique and rest breaks, so timing varies; your esthetician will provide an accurate estimate before starting.
Some temporary redness or mild irritation is normal, especially on sensitive areas. Our estheticians use soothing oils, cold compresses, and post-care products to reduce inflammation. If you have allergies or skin conditions, disclose them during consultation for tailored care.
Most clients return every four to six weeks to maintain smoothness, though hair growth cycles vary. After several sessions, hair often grows back finer and sparser, making appointments easier and potentially less frequent over time.
Avoid shaving between waxes; shaving cuts hair at the surface and disrupts the waxing schedule. If you must remove stray hairs, trim gently. For best results, let hair reach roughly a quarter to half inch before your next Full Body Wax.
For 24 to 48 hours, avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, tanning, and fragranced products. Wear loose clothing and apply recommended soothing lotions. Follow homecare instructions to minimize ingrown hairs and support healing after your Full Body Wax.
