Results usually last three to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle, hormones, and personal care. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and soften hair, while exfoliation and moisturization help prolong smoothness between appointments.

Some stinging is common, especially on sensitive areas, but estheticians use warm wax and quick technique to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine, take ibuprofen beforehand if needed, and breathe deeply during treatment to reduce discomfort.

Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils. Hair should be at least quarter-inch long. Avoid sunburn, self-tanning, or retinol use 48 hours prior. Communicate sensitivities to your esthetician before waxing.

Apply soothing, fragrance-free lotion and avoid hot baths, saunas, or heavy exercise for 24 hours. Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrowns. Use SPF when exposed and monitor for irritation, contacting us if prolonged redness occurs.

Many clients with sensitive skin can be waxed, but disclose medications like Accutane, retinoids, or blood thinners. These increase risk of irritation or skin damage; we may recommend patch tests, adjustments, or delay treatment for your safety.

Schedule every three to six weeks depending on hair growth and personal preference. New clients may start at shorter intervals; over time spacing often increases as regular waxing weakens hair follicles and reduces regrowth.
