Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Wax + Eyelash Lift & Tint.
Trim hair to about quarter-inch if needed, avoid heavy exfoliation or sunburn beforehand, and skip self-tanners. Remove eye makeup and bring contact lens case; avoid caffeine to reduce sensitivity. Arrive slightly relaxed to allow efficient, comfortable service.
Waxing causes brief stinging as hair is removed, but skilled estheticians minimize discomfort with proper technique and calming products. Lash lift and tint are generally gentle. We offer aftercare to soothe skin and recommend communication to adjust pressure or pace.
A Brazilian wax typically lasts three to six weeks depending on hair growth. Lash lift results usually last six to eight weeks, while the tint can fade in four to six weeks. Regular maintenance appointments extend and maintain results.
Many clients safely receive waxing and lash services while pregnant or nursing, but hormonal skin sensitivity may increase discomfort or irritation. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider and scheduling a patch test before treatment. Tell your esthetician about any pregnancy-related sensitivities.
For waxing, avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise, and exfoliation for 24–72 hours to reduce irritation and ingrown hairs. For lashes, keep them dry for 24 hours, avoid rubbing, and skip mascara for a day. Use gentle cleansers and recommended soothing products.
We recommend a patch test for tints and a brief consultation for first-time clients or those with sensitive skin, allergies, or recent chemical treatments. Disclose medications like retinoids. Consultations ensure safe, personalized care and help prevent adverse reactions.
