Get answers to common questions about Eyebrow Wax.
An Eyebrow Wax appointment usually takes ten to twenty minutes including a brief consultation. As an add-on, it’s quick and precise—expect a fast service that fits into most appointments with minimal extra time.
Regular waxing removes hair from the root but does not permanently change follicle count. Some hairs may appear finer with consistent waxing, though true thinning is uncommon. We recommend spacing sessions appropriately and letting estheticians shape conservatively to avoid over-removal.
Most clients report brief stinging or pulling sensations, but pain is usually minimal and short-lived. To reduce discomfort, avoid caffeine, arrive makeup-free, communicate sensitivity to your esthetician, and apply a soothing gel or cold compress after the service.
Typical timing is every three to six weeks depending on personal hair growth. New clients may need slightly shorter intervals; once a routine is established, waxing often becomes easier and hair can grow back finer. We'll recommend timing during your visit.
Sensitive skin or topical prescriptions like retinoids and certain acne medicines require caution. If you use exfoliating products or oral medications (e.g., Accutane), inform us before booking. We may perform a patch test, delay treatment, or suggest gentle alternatives to protect your skin.
Aftercare includes avoiding makeup, direct sun, saunas, and strenuous exercise for twenty-four hours. Gently cleanse the area, apply aloe or a calming balm, and avoid exfoliation for forty-eight hours. If redness or bumps persist, contact us for advice or a soothing treatment.
